Central Vibrant Colorful End Grain: 13.5"L x 13 1/8" W x 1.5" thickness is custom made from white oak wood, walnut and cherry wood and leftovers of exotic hardwoods. It is applied with food grade beeswax conditioner. 
 
Those colors are NOT dyes or stains; they are exotic hardwoods from Brazil, South America and Africa. Others are from Appalachian in the northeast states.
 
End grain board is also the most durable because of its' self-healing feature. Its' fibrous cell structure allows the board to spring back into shape after cuts and scratches
